The option: Patient CD
mediDOK® Patient CD for providing data to patients and colleagues on CD/DVD.
In addition to the printout, a DICOM-compatible patient CD is today the most common medium for the transport of images. The image data (individual images, series and loops) of one or more patients can be copied direct from the programme interface onto CD or DVD, in order to provide the data to patients, colleagues or other medical bodies. The mediDOK® DICOM Viewer supplied on the CD allows the images to be viewed by the recipient.
Optional: Support of the Rimage 2000i automatic CD creator
With the mediDOK® PACS Archive Manager, and when creating a mediDOK® PACS patient CD, CDs or DVDs can now be created on the network by an automatic CD creator. This enables both automated archive CD creation including label printing, and the sending of the copying job for the patient CD direct from mediDOK® Xtension, and then continuing to work in the programme without having to wait for the CD.
