With corresponding software and hardware, “See my baby” opens up to all gynaecologists the possibility of copying the most beautiful video sequences of the routine ultrasound examinations of their baby for expectant mothers during the course of pre-natal care onto a special CD-ROM for them to take home with them.
The simple handling enables the recordings to be made in parallel with the ultrasound examinations, thereby meaning no additional time requirement or interruption of the workflow.
The software of “SeeMyBaby.de” conforms in all aspects to the technical work requirements of doctors: simple handling by recording of the ultrasound sequences by means of a foot-switch during the sessions, explicit selection of the sequences no longer required by the doctor after a repeated check on the PC monitor and automated copying after express approval of the selected recording. The programme is designed so that neither the doctor nor patient can accidentally overwrite the CD-ROM. All in all, “SeeMyBaby.de” makes an enduring reminder for the mother and relatives.
